The wind is undoubtedly a critical environmental factor for an awning. All Pronema's models are certified in Class 2 for wind resistance, guaranteed to resist a wind not exceeding 38 km/h. If motorized, the curtains can be equipped with an optional wind-proof sensor so that when the wind rises, they automatically close.

The closing and opening of the awning can be automated by combining the atmospheric wind, sun, or rain intelligent sensors.
