Zip system, the technology adopted by Pronema, is ideal for mosquito nets and large awnings for the closure of large balconies and terraces, with widths up to six meters for instance. It ensures a wind resistance above Class 3 on a maximum width of 6 meters and a maximum height of 3 meters. Problems with bending of the roller and the mosquito net (or awning) are done away thanks to it remaining perfectly stretched.
The blind is a simple addition to our everyday life, but there are many technical and physical aspects involved in an item so familiar, especially when it comes to a technologically advanced product, which requires more specific performance and results.
That is why Pronema developed the Zip system (wind-proof), which provides for the presence of a zipper – adequately sized to custom – along the side profile of a mosquito net or a curtain. The zip slides on special guides that prevent the fabric from escaping from its seat. In this way, you get mosquito nets and curtains, which, in addition to being fastened in the upper part (to the roll) and in the lower part (the bottom) are also each laterally secured. The benefits that a technology of this type can offer are numerous. In particular, the ZIP system enables very wide glass sliding surface, which does not require rigid insertions into the fabric and, therefore, offers free surfaces, much airier and elegant. Furthermore, due to the rigidity that the side zip applies against the force of the wind and small accidental impacts, curtains and mosquito nets can also be installed in areas that are exposed to lousy weather and on large size windows.
